King George V as Colonel of the Loyal Suffolk Hussars

In 1893 the Suffolk Yeomanry paraded on Angel Hill and was reviewed by the Duke of York (later King George V) on their centenary.
After the parade he conferred on them the title the "Duke of York's Own Loyal Suffolk Hussars".
