The Nottinghamshire Yeomary (Sherwood Rangers)

Raised in 1794 at the declaration of war with France. In 1815 it was enrolled for active service, but was not called upon to proceed abroad, and was disembodied after the ocupation of Paris. Since its formation its dress has always been of "Sherwood Green".

The Jacket kept the tight spencer pattern (abandonned by the Regulars after the Crimean war).
It sports a very specific yellow braiding pattern (gold for officers). Collar and Cuffs also display a distinctive lace pattern.
The piping is yellow. The busby bag is scarlet, white over green plume.
