Middlesex Yeomanry.

Cabinet Card, studio H.H.Harding, Stoke Newington, London North.
Trooper in the Middlesex Yeomanry, c.1885-90.

This trooper sports the green Tunic as styled after 1882, when the rows of yellow braiding were changed from three to five.
The black velvet facings show distinctly here.

He displays the white pouch belt introduced c.1885.
The sword slings appear to still be black, which would place our portrait c.1885-1890, when they were changed to white.

The photographer H.H.Harding, working from that Studio address, had been elected a Member of the Photographic Society of Great Britain on Tuesday, 9th November, 1880.
