1906 photocard

The Yorkshire Hussars

The above photocard gives an excellent view of the dismounted review order (from 1902 Full Dress with the busby was only worn on for Church Parade). The corporal wears the signaller badge over his chevrons.
It is quite interesting to count the rows of braiding sported by the standing men : the three men to the right sport 20 rows of braiding, while the man standing on the left only sports 19.

The Busby has a red bag, a white-metal York Rose as boss, white lines, black over red bush. White lace braiding.
